Advanced RiderCourse

The Advanced RiderCourse (ARC) is a one-day course for experienced riders on any type of bike. It builds on the skills you already have and spends real time on judgment: how you assess risk, how you make decisions at speed, and how you behave when a situation turns.

About two hours are informal classroom work, with exercises on perception and hazard awareness and group discussion of lines through turns, braking technique and body position. The remaining five hours are on the range, in exercises built to feel like the road: higher-speed maneuvering, quick swerves, traction management, and emergency braking in curves and on slippery surfaces. Trail braking and a "forward and in" body position are introduced.

You ride your own street-legal motorcycle. It must be in good working order and pass a visual safety inspection; bring current registration and proof of insurance.

Bring a road-legal motorcycle you are comfortable handling, with current registration and proof of insurance. Coaches check both at the range before you ride.

Plans change. You can move your own booking online using the order number in your confirmation email, up to the cutoff shown at checkout. Inside that window, call the office and we will sort it out with you. Cancellation and late-reschedule fees are set out in our enrollment policy.
