Marisol is Northpoint's chief flight instructor and the reason the school exists: she bought the first aircraft, wrote the first ground school syllabus, and still teaches the first weekend of every one. She holds CFI, CFII and MEI certificates and has logged more than 4,000 hours, most of them in the right seat.

Her thing as an instructor is the nervous first-timer. She remembers being one.
