What You Need to Know:
- Two consecutive weekends, four sessions of six hours
- Practice exams after each session, and a full mock exam at the end
- An endorsement for the FAA written exam on completion
The course is taught in the hangar classroom with the aircraft in the room, so systems and preflight lessons happen at the airplane rather than on a slide. Class size is capped at sixteen.
You can take ground school before, during or after your flight training. Most students take it first.

Be at least 15 on the first day. No flying experience required.

What to bring
Bring a government photo ID and anything listed under prerequisites. Flight students bring a logbook if they have one; yoga students bring water and comfortable clothes. Mats, props and aviation headsets are provided.
Rescheduling and cancellations
Plans change. You can move your own booking online using the order number in your confirmation email, up to the cutoff shown at checkout. Inside that window, call the office and we will sort it out with you. Cancellation and late-reschedule fees are set out in our enrollment policy.
