Tomas is an aircraft mechanic turned flight instructor. He holds a CFI certificate and an A&P license, keeps both training aircraft flying, and teaches the systems and preflight lessons in ground school at the airplane rather than on a slide.

If a training aircraft runs, it is usually because Tomas looked at it.
